Two months after debuting his women’s collection for Dior in a captivating horror-themed presentation, Jonathan Anderson has taken a bold leap forward, reshaping the brand’s identity with his pre-fall 2026 collection.
Describing the collection as a “wardrobe suited for many characters and occasions,” Anderson’s Fall 2026 line expands Dior’s aesthetic spectrum, while also offering a fresh take on classic styles.
The iconic Bar jacket appears either cropped or soft, with experimental enlargements into coat silhouettes. Meanwhile, trousers are reimagined with an oversized, slouchy fit and enhanced by reverse pleats, crafted from luxurious silk denim.
Denim is revisited through lovingly distressed, elongated skirts that incorporate classic jean pockets. When styled with speckled charcoal cardigans, this combination is set to spark a significant trend.
Once again, Anderson embraces dramatic bows, showcased in silk chemises featuring cuffs that elegantly extend beyond the fingertips.
“The ability of fashion to transform the everyday is reaffirmed, presented with a mix of softness and boldness,” asserts Dior in its promotional communications.
Revealed in a stunning photo shoot beneath Paris’s iconic Pont Neuf, pieces from this collection will arrive in retail by April 2026.
Anderson continues to explore innovative draping techniques, incorporating rouching and looping, and accentuating large side bows on elegant moiré dresses and satin gowns. One standout dress, in a striking seaweed green, echoes a recent look worn by Mia Goth at the Governor’s Ball, now showcased at La Galerie Dior, adjacent to the brand’s flagship on Avenue Montaigne.
